The Bible

We believe the Bible is the Word of God. It is divinely inspired, infallible, and entirely trustworthy. It is the supreme authority in all matters of life, faith, and conduct.

God and Man

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons…Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that God is the absolute and sole creator of the universe and that creation was by divine command. We believe that God created man in His own image for the purpose of glorifying Him. However, instead of glorifying God, man rebelled against God. Because of man’s rebellion and sin, man is separated from God and deserving of God’s punishment. We believe that God, by His sovereign choice and out of love for mankind, sent Christ into the world to save sinners.

Jesus Christ

We believe that God sent Jesus the Son who was born of a virgin, and who was fully God and fully man. We believe Jesus lived a sinless life, suffered death on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sin. He was buried and then rose from the dead, demonstrating His victory over sin and death. We believe that in Jesus’ death, through the shedding of His Blood, the Lord Jesus Christ made perfect atonement for sin and redeemed us from the curse of sin. We believe that salvation is in Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone. We believe that today Jesus is at the right hand of the Father, He is the head of the church, and He intercedes for believers. We believe one day Jesus will return to earth personally, bodily, and visibly to set up His millennial kingdom.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that God, the Holy Spirit, opens spiritually blind eyes and draws people to salvation. He then dwells in the lives of believers, sealing them for eternity, and enabling their sanctification. The Holy Spirit has been given to believers to empower them for obedience, service, and witness.

The Church

We believe God brings His people together to form a family of believers, called the church, whose joy and duty is to live in unity in the power of the Holy Spirit and under the authority of Scripture.

We Believe every true Christian is to be a dynamic part of a local church since this is God’s primary context for spiritual development and community impact.
